| The
limit for an excepted estate changes most years and is now inline
with the IHT nil rate band. Further information can be found
on the HMRC website at http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/cto/customerguide/page3.htm.
To find out whether the deceased's estate can qualify as an
'excepted estate' you will need to fill in form IHT205. To download
this form and the notes to help you complete it, right click
on the link below and choose the save option. |

you find that the estate is not an excepted estate, you will
need to complete an IHT200 form and provide the Inland Revenue
with a basic set of accounting details covering all assets and
libailities for the deceased. The links below allow you to download
the forms. |
