  INLAND REVENUE TAX FORMS
 
  All the forms are in Portable Document Format (PDF). To be able to fill in and print out the forms, you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader 4 or 5 (available for free download) installed on your machine. If you want to save copies of the completed forms to your hard disk, you will need Adobe Acrobat 4 or 5 (available for purchase from www.adobe.com or retailers) installed on your machine.

  Excepted Estate? (Free of Inheritance Tax)
  The limit for an excepted estate changes most years and is now inline with the IHT nil rate band. Further information can be found on the HMRC website at http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/cto/customerguide/page3.htm. To find out whether the deceased's estate can qualify as an 'excepted estate' you will need to fill in form IHT205. To download this form and the notes to help you complete it, right click on the link below and choose the save option.

  Not an Excepted Estate (IHT to be paid)
  If you find that the estate is not an excepted estate, you will need to complete an IHT200 form and provide the Inland Revenue with a basic set of accounting details covering all assets and libailities for the deceased. The links below allow you to download the forms.
